Was towed to Montreal, after having guards removed to transit Welland Canal, in the fall of 1903. Had general repairs made at Baltimore, MD, after steaming there from Montreal. Then was stationed at Key West, FL. |
Disposition
|
Broke tow line from Tug AMERICA, June 1, 1942, off Middle Sister Island, Lake Erie; retrieved by McQueen tug PROGRESS and towed to Amherstburg, Ontario. Sold to Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd., and scrapped at Hamilton, Ontario in 1943. |
