History Steel for building the tug was furnished by Lackawanna Steel Co. Tug was completed in December, 1917 and commissioned in April, 1918.When owned by General Steamship & Transportation Corp. (\"Golden Fleet\"), Milwaukee, WI, was used to work on sunken steamer PRINS WILLEM V, off Milwaukee's harbor mouth, 1966-1967.
Disposition Sank in Lake Erie in 1993; one life lost.
