Christened as JOSEPH S. YOUNG at Buffalo, NY, on July 19, 1957.As H.LEE WHITE: Collided with downbound Greek freighter GEORGIOS A. near St. Clair, MI, in St. Clair River, about 2:45 a.m., December 11, 1974, while WHITE was upbound. Returned to Nicholson dock at Detroit for inspection of damage.
Grounded at Port Dolomite June 26, 1974, suffering about $625,000 damage.
Grounded in the Detroit River near buoy 23 on May 5, 1980. She was freed after lighting a portion of her cargo. She suffered no damage. |
