Sold in 1945 to American Machinery Corp., of Jacksonville, FL. But deal apparently fell through before she could be towed to Chicago for transit to Gulf of Mexico. |
Disposition | After lying idle at Port McNicoll, Ontario, sold to Steel Co. of Canada, Ltd., for scrapping at Hamilton, Ontario. Passed down, Port Colborne, May 27, 1947, in tow of tugs HELENA and TUPPER PORTER, bound for Hamilton, Ontario. Scrapped there in summer, 1948. |
