History First enrollment issued at Cleveland, OH, May 23, 1863.Last U.S. enrollment surrendered at Port Huron, MI, on April 22, 1914.
As ATLANTIC: Burned at dock, foot of 21st Street, Detroit, MI, on August 27, 1899, after lying there for two years.
Disposition Foundered off Pultneyville, NY, Lake Ontario, on October 28, 1919, with loss of entire crew; nine lives lost. Vessel was bound from Oswego, NY, for Toronto, Ontario, with cargo of coal. Wreckage washed ashore at Sodus, NY.
