History Final enrollment surrendered at Cleveland, OH, on April 27, 1895, with endorsement \"Vessel Lost.\"Name changed from AUGUSTA to COLONEL COOK at Detroit, MI, on April 12, 1861.
Disposition Abandoned by crew in sinking condition off Lorain, OH, September 23, 1894, bound from Kelleys Island for Cleveland with stone. Wreck discovered on September 25, 1894, in eleven feet of water, and in two pieces, near Lorain.
