History Passed upbound, Welland Canal, June 8, 1963, on maiden voyage.As BAIE ST. PAUL: Grounded April 14, 1969 near mouth of St. Clair River, in Lake Huron; downbound with grain for Montreal.
Grounded off Hamilton Island, east of Snell Lock, St. Lawrence Seaway, after loss of steering power, on July 6, 1971. Released by tugs SALVAGE MONARCH and SINMAC on July 8th, and, after inspection, permitted to proceed.
Grounded just above the Detroit River's Fighting Island south light on August 5, 1984 and was pulled free by Gaelic tugs WICKLOW and BANTRY BAY.
Disposition Towed, along with CANADIAN HARVEST, by McKeil tugs to Pointe-au-Pic. Taken to shipbreakers in the Far East. (Great Lakes Log, May 30, 1995)
