Bow section towed to Sarnia by tugs TABOGA and BARBARA ANN on April 27, to be scuttled as land fill for City of Sarnia.As J.L. REISS: Sideswiped by steamer SEWELL AVERY, in dense fog, in St. Clair River near Algonac, MI, on September 23, 1962. |

Sunk in collision with Canadian steamer PARKER EVANS, just below Blue Water Bridge, St. Clair River, Port Huron, MI, on June 5, 1972; no lives lost. Vessel sank in 35 feet water, then rolled over on starboard side. Broke in two on June 7, 1972. |
