Vessel History

Rebuilds Reconstructed, 1926. Converted to crane ship, with two revolving cranes, 1939. Measures change, 1942 (352.75 x 48.16 x 24; 3562 gross - 2963 net). Cut in half and converted to two undocumented scows, 1964.
History Vessel removed from documentation in January, 1966, prior to conversion to scows.
Disposition In tow of tug ROY R. LOVE, encountered heavy seas on October 29, 1965, and broke tow line. Stern section (170 x 50) grounded at Christmas Cove, one mile south of Cathead Point; bow section struck Frankfort, MI, breakwater, and sank just north of harbor entrance.
