History Vessel was built under sub-contract by Johnston Brothers, and assembled in 1912 at Ferrysburg, MI. After hull completion, was knocked down, crated, and shipped to Portland, OR, for completed assembly. Was constructed as Hull 52 by Johnston Brothers.
