History Maiden trip to Conneaut, OH, arriving there, May 26, 1964.Chartered to Leitch Transports, Ltd., fall, 1974.
As CAPE BRETON MINER: On maiden voyage to Conneaut, OH, while loading coal there, May 26, 1964, broke unloading boom.
At Port Weller in late July-early August 1974 to repair extensive leakage resulting from alleged heavy weather damage.
Ran aground in early July 1980 in chippewa Bay in the St. Lawrence River after she experienced steering gear problems. She began taking in water from several damaged side tanks. After refloating, she was taken to Port Weller Dry Docks for repairs.
Disposition Sold for scrap in 1987 and arrived in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, May 27 to be broken up.
