History | First enrollment issued at Oswego, NY, July 1, 1873.Vessel reported as \"sailed for Santiago, Cuba, October 7, 1923, not reported since.\" Sailed from St. Marys River, MI. Tug S.S. MAC appears in 1941 Canadian List of Shipping as recovered wreck built at Thessalon, Ontario, in 1941. In July, 1962, Captain James F. McColman, of Thessalon, said that he and his two sons, Sherlock and Solomon, recovered the S.S. MAC off Detour, MI. The CAYUGA was owned by T.L. Durocher, of Detour, MI, when she was \"lost\" in 1923. |
