Commissioned on November 9, 1918, and departed Chicago for coast on November 29, 1918. Arrived at Boston, December 13, 1918, for fitting out as cross-channel transport. War ended before she could go across; decommissioned on December 3, 1919 for sale to purchaser. Sold to Goodrich Transit Co., on November 4, 1919. Sold by J.G. Crosby to Havana-American S.S. Co., February 3, 1920; by them to A.O. Anderson & Co., on May 21, 1920; and back to Havana-American SS Co. on June 17, 1920. Sold by U.S. Marshal, November 6, 1922, to O'Brien Bros. Towing Co.; and by them to Havana Navigation Corp., on November 16, 1922. |
