COREY: Beached on Gull Island, Apostle Islands, Lake Superior, Novermber 28, 1905. Released and taken to Superior, WI, for repairs; $100,000 loss. Stranded on Gros Cap Reef, Lake Superior, May 30, 1917; loss of $25,000. Damaged on trip downbound across Lake Superior, from Two Harbors, MN, October 22-23, 1929; damage loss of $3500. |
