History First enrollment issued at Sandusky, OH, May 23, 1860.Capsized and became waterlogged about fifteen miles north-northwest of Whitehall, MI, Lake Michigan, off Sylvan Beach, on August 1, 1904. Crew of four rescued from beach by U.S. Life Saving Service from Whitehall; no lives lost. Vessel was bound from Frankfort, MI, for Chicago, IL, with cargo of sawdust at time of loss.
