Rebuilds Converted to submarine salvage vessel by Peruvian Navy, 1948.
History Commissioned by U.S. Navy on February 1, 1918, after being acquired on January 23, 1918. Served off coast of Maine and Brest, France in 1918-1919. Decommissioned on April 3, 1920; transferred to Dept. of Interior. Placed on loan to Panama on July 1, 1931. Returned to Dept. of Interior on October 24, 1940, and transferred to U.S. Navy on March 8, 1941. Placed with Panama Canal Mechanical Division on November 1, 1943. Stricken from Navy List on February 19, 1948.
Disposition Removed from Peruvian Navy list, 1958.
