As PARKS FOSTER: Stranded at Limekiln Crossing, Detroit River, on July 21, 1912, as a result of disabled steering engine. Lighter RESCUE required to get her off.Stranded in thick fog off Black River, MI, Lake Huron, just below Alpena, on October 17, 1928. Was bound from Detroit for Green Bay, WI, with 109 automobiles on board. Declared a constructive total loss and surrendered to underwriters, who sold her to Reid Wrecking Co., Ltd. |
