History | First enrollment issued at Port Huron, MI, April 20, 1888. As GERMANIC: Grounded at head of Stag Island, St. Clair River, on November 4, 1904, while upbound with cargo of coal, in fog. Caught fire there on November 6, 1904, and burned to water's edge. Final enrollment surrendered at Cleveland, OH, on December 21, 1904. Burned out hull sold in 1908 to Manley Chew, of Midland, Ont., for rebuilding. |
