Passed upbound at Detroit, MI, on maiden voyage, November 3, 1961. Built under U.S. Maritime Commission contract as T2-SE-A1 tanker.As HILDA MARJANNE: Ran aground at Banford Point Light, Wolfe Island, September 22, 1966; released on September 24, 1966.
Went aground on sandbar off Sarnia (Ont.) Elevator Co. dock on April 10, 1977. After receiving tug assistance and working to free herself, cleared Sarnia on morning of April 12.
Grounded near Portneuf in Seaway on July 17, 1979, proceeding to Quebec after lightering by P.S. BARGE NO. 1. |
