Then swung starboard side against wall, puncturing hull.Struck dock at Peerless Cement Co., Port Huron, MI, as current caught bow of steamer, in dense fog, May 16, 1972; suffered about $100,000 bow damages. She ran aground approximately one thousand feet from the dock at Cardinal, Ontario, on May 30, 1983. She was refloated the following day with assistance of the tugs DANIEL MCALLISTER and the SALVAGE MONARCH. |
