History As DOUGLASS HOUGHTON (U.S.): Parted steering cable at Sailor's Encampment, St. Marys River, September 5, 1899, and was run into by her barge, JOHN FRITZ, sinking her and blocking the river for a week before she was raised.
Disposition Sold in Spring, 1969, to Toronto Harbour Commissioners and sunk as landfill for Ontario Government Pavilion, Canadian National Exposition Grounds, just west of west gap, in August, 1969. (August 20, 1969).
