Rebuilt at Owen Sound, Ontario, by John Simpson, lengthened, cabins added, new engines, feathered wheels, and after trials, busselled (174.66 x 23.25 x 10.58; 937 gross - 590 net). |
History

First registered at Quebec City, Quebec, on May 16, 1877.Struck log raft which had broken away from tug VIGILANT, during gale, on July 28, 1897, about ten miles above Point Edward, Ontario, Lake Huron, damaging engine. Drifted ashore near Point Edward. Released by Thompson Towing & Wrecking Co. of Port Huron, and towed to Detroit for inspection. Then towed to Sarnia and permitted to sink in shallow water. After a few sales, towed to Allenburg, Ontario. Dismantled and register closed on June 5, 1905. |
