Rebuilds Lengthened and deepened by Davie Shipbuilding & Repair, Ltd., Lauzon, P.Q., in 1959 (343.33 x 43.66 x 22.66; 3376 gross - 2657 registered). Converted to \"spoils carrier,\" with hopper bottom, and equipped with Harbormaster outboard motors at Sorel, P.Q.; winter, 1971-1972.
History As HUTCHCLIFFE HALL: In Collision with steamer RICHARD V. LINDABURY, October 5, 1962, in fog off Grosse Pointe Farms, St. Clair River. Suffered a twelve foot gash just for'd of after cabins, port side.As ILE AUX COUDRES: Suffered minor damage on August 14, 1978, as leaving drydock at Sorel, P.Q. Main suction valve and pump cleanout box cover were left open, causing flooding of main pump room; diver assistance needed to close valve. Pumps, engines, bow thruster unit, generators, and other electrical equipment affected, and various pieces of equipment had to be opened up, cleaned, and reconditioned. Ship had been in drydock for minor repairs.
