History First enrollment issued at Cleveland, OH, April 19, 1890.Lying at anchor with cargo of iron ore off Miller's Coal Dock, Port Huron, MI, St. Clair River, was rammed by propeller HENRY PHIPPS, September 22, 1911, in dense fog; sunk with no lives lost. Much of hull removed as menace to navigation. Remaining wreckage removed by U.S. Corps of Engineers in 1963. Final enrollment surrendered at Duluth, January 9, 1912.
