History As JUNO: On November 1, 1912, while towing schooner-barge P.B. LOCKE, heavy seas caused the LOCKE to founder. The JUNO, leaking badly, made Cobourg harbor and sank in shallow water on November 2. Sold in February 1913, while still on bottom. Raised following spring. Returned to service after repairs costing $3,000.
Disposition Registry closed September 29, 1920.
