As J.F. SCHOELLKOPF, JR.: Ran aground off Belle Isle, Detroit River, on June 13, in early a.m., going into Edison Dock; was released three hours later by 2 Great Lakes Towing Co. tugs.Hit a buoy off Sandusky, OH, during a snowstorm about December 2, 1976, but was able to free herself and proceed on her trip. Caught cable in propeller early in June, 1977, and put in to Lorain, OH, for a few days. |

Sold to Marine Salvage, Ltd., Port Colborne, Ontario, and resold to C.N. Santa Maria. Departed Quebec under tow on June 27, 1980, and scrapping began at LaSpezia, Italy, on July 29, 1980. |
