History Sunk as temporary breakwater for construction of Hydro Electric Pumped Storage Project, Two Creeks, WI, on Lake Michigan, in 1967, along with old Canadian propeller SASKATOON. Raised and towed to Kewaunee, WI, on September 14, 1972.As ALFRED KRUPP (undocumented): Broke from moorings at Kewaunee, WI, during storm on April 9, 1973, swung around, and struck Corps of Engineers dredge KEWAUNEE and some scows. Punctured hole in stern of KRUPP, above waterline; remoored alongside SASKATOON by April 11.
Disposition Scrapping started at Hyman-Michaels Co., Duluth, MN, summer, 1975.
