Vessel History

History Stranded on Encampment Island, near Two Harbors, MN, Lake Superior, on November 28, 1905. Consort MANILA collided with her and also ran ashore. Steamer broke in two; one life lost; total loss of $300,000. Stern section salvaged in 1906 and taken to Duluth, MN. Engine placed in steamer J.S. ASHLEY and stern scrapped in 1908.
