Rebuilds Readmeasured at Cleveland, OH, October 21, 1865 (446.43 gross; 133.25 x 26 x 11.66). Rebuilt in 1880 (132.25 x 26 x 11.66; 332 gross - 255 net). Cut down from package freight to lumber carrier.
History First enrollment issued at Cleveland, OH, September 30, 1862.Boiler exploded about one mile above Ogdensburg, NY, St. Lawrence River, on July 5, 1871; 3 lives lost.
Sunk at Goose Bay, six miles below Alexandria Bay, NY, on June 14, 1872; raised on June 24, 1872.
Burned at Northern Transit Co. wharf, Port Huron, MI, on May 22, 1880. Lines were cut loose and vessel was blown across stream below Point Edward. Raised on June 9, 1880, by Captain F.I. Merriman. Cut down to lumber carrier during repairs.
Burned and sank while fitting out at Tonawanda, NY, April 15, 1898. Insured for $13,500. Raised on May 2, 1898, and inspected. Sank and raised again on July 18, 1898. Towed to Bay City, MI, where repairs were completed in James Davidson yard on October 7, 1899.
Disposition Burned to a total loss at Marine City, MI, on July 16, 1911.
