History Sold at U.S. Marshal's sale, May 17, 1973, along with barge WILTRANCO I, at Escanaba, MI, to First National Bank of Escanaba (Michigan).As OLIVE L. MOORE: Ran aground about a half mile from shore between Muskegon and Ludington, MI, while en route from Chicago for Rockland, ME. This occurred after she holed herself by striking her tow; May 5, 1966. After temporary repairs, tied up at William Stender yard, Bay City, MI. Offered for sale by U.S. Marshal, of Detroit, September 21, 1967.
On September 28, 1984, the Coast Guard used a 41-footer to remove a crewman with a possible separated shoulder.
