Suffered strained hull and structural damage in gale and heavy seas about sixty miles west of Whitefish Point, Lake Superior, November 23, 1922; $25,000 loss. As PETER ROBERTSON: In collision with steamer J.S. ASHLEY, two miles north of Cleveland, OH, harbor entrance; June 20, 1961. Suffered damage to rudder and stern plates. On way to be scrapped, broke anchor chains and grounded off Jordan Harbour, Ont., Lake Ontario, August 16, 1969; released. |
