Rebuilds Converted to tanker by Bethlehem Shipbuilding Co., Staten Island, NY, in 1947 (290.58 x 43 x 17.58; 2463 gross - 1826 net).
History Sold to Acme Scrap Iron & Metal Co., Ashtabula, OH, in 1964, for scrapping. Departed Cleveland, OH, on September 15, 1964, after having been laid up there in December, 1957. Document surrendered in October 1965, as scrapped. Forward section reduced to 120-foot derrick barge owned by Capital Dredge & Dock Corp., Lorain, OH. Section sank 1000 feet off Lorain lighthouse on July 23, 1968, while being towed from Toledo to Cleveland by LAURENCE C. TURNER. Raised and pulled onto beach by Corps of Engineers, August 2, 1968.
