After departing Racine, WI, where she had sought shelter, her seams opened in the after end, on November 13, 1922, and she sank about eighteen miles southeast of St. Francis, WI (near Southpoint, south of Milwaukee). Crew of twenty launched two lifeboats and came ashore at St. Francis; no lives lost |
