Rebuilds Tonnage change, 1914 (4307 gross - 3151 net). Rebuilt by American Ship Building Co., 1919-1920 (380 x 49.58 x 28; 3942 gross - 3108 net). Tonnage change, 1918 (3891 gross - 3087 net).
History Was driven ashore on Picture Rocks, Lake Superior while upbound light, and trying for shelter at Munising Bay, November 5, 1940. Crew of 31 rescued two days later. With back broken, given up as constructive total loss. Gotten off July 8, 1941. Examined at South Chicago for reconstruction because of war effort, but deemed too small for the cost. Sold to John Roen and taken to Sturgeon Bay, WI, for conversion to dry dock.
