Vessel History

History First enrollment issued at Port Huron, MI, August 17, 1881.Sunk in collision with propeller WILLIAM CHISHOLM, August 14, 1896, near Grosse Pointe Lightship, off Windmill Point, lower Detroit River. Vessel was upbound with coal from Buffalo, NY, for Chicago, IL. Raised by Captain Harris W. Baker on September 4, 1896, and taken to Detroit Dry Dock Company's Orleans Street yard for repairs.
Disposition Destroyed by fire at Montreal, P.Q., on July 2, 1919. Dismantled there by LaChance, Ltd., in 1921.
