Rebuilds Rebuilt, Detroit, MI, September 25, 1894 (162.50 x 30 x 11.33; 594.17 gross - 325.68 net).
History First enrollment issued at Port Huron, MI, June 18, 1881.Sprung a leak on Big Bay de Noque, between Peninsula Point and Poverty Passage on December 3, 1891, and sank. Decks and cabins blown off as vessel sank in 11 fathoms water, 1 1/2 miles northwest of Burnt Bluff. Crew rescued by consorts MAXWELL and TILDEN. Vessel removed from enrollment at Buffalo, NY, December 3, 1891 as total loss. Later raised, rebuilt, and redocumented at Detroit, MI, on September 25, 1894.
Disposition Burned to a total loss 1 1/2 miles below Grand Point, near Harsens Island, St. Clair River, December 3, 1922; no lives lost. Was upbound light from Toledo, OH, to lay up at Marine City, MI, at time of loss.
