History Commissioned by U.S. Coast Guard on July 28, 1915, and arrived at Portland, ME, on August 17, 1915. Transferred by Executive Order to the U.S. Navy on April 6, 1917, attached to Squadron 2, Division 6, Atlantic Patrol Forces. Arrived at Gibraltar on August 30, 1917, and performed patrol duty in the Mediterranean Sea for duration of World War I. Transferred back to U.S. Coast Guard on August 28, 1919, for duties at Portland, ME.
Disposition Sold to Harold H. Neff, of East Cleveland, OH, on September 18, 1946. Later scrapped.
