She was freed two days later after a portion of her cargo diesel fuel was lightered by the IMPERIAL SARNIA.She reportedly leaked over 21,000 gallons on Bunker C into the St. Lawrence River on March 17, 1982 after suffering a crack on a cargo compartment--the result of striking an ice flow. She was near Three Rivers, Quebec, bound for Seven Islands from Montreal. |
