As HELEN EVANS: Ran aground in St. Lawrence River near Brockville on September 21, 1977, while bound from Sept-Iles for Cleveland. Accident occurred when vessel suffered steering problems and went onto shoal on U.S. side of river. Freed two days later with minor damage. |

Departed Quebec on September 17, 1980 under tow; arrived at Mamonal, Colombia, October 30, 1980, for scrapping. Scrapped by Soc. Industrial de Productos Siderurgicas S.A., of Cartagena, Colombia. Scrapping commenced on July 14, 1981. Register closed on September 16, 1983- sold Bogota, Columbia. |
