History | Stranded on Amherst Island, Lake Ontario, on November 2, 1874, in thick weather, bound from Oswego, NY, for Trenton, Ont. Damage estimated at $1,000.Stranded at Collingwood, Ontario, breakwater on June 3, 1879, bound from Chicago for Collingwood. Casualty blamed on error in judgement; damage estimated at $200. Became waterlogged on Georgian Bay, August 21, 1891, loaded with lumber. Lost her deck load of lumber and all houses; towed into Windsor, Ontario for repairs -- estimated at $1,900. Burned at Windsor, Ontario, January 2, 1893. Reportedly rebuilt as barge. |
