History As POINTE NOIRE: In collision with tanker SATURN on June 6, 1977, in Detroit River near Fighting Island. Received bow repairs at Sarnia, Ontario. 1977- Went hard aground near entrance to Rock Cut, St. Marys River, on August 4; lightered by BUCKEYE. Sustained some bottom damage.
Disposition Sold to Port Maitland Shipbreaking, Ltd., Port Maitland, Ontario. Delivered to them, September 16, 1982, at Toronto, Ontario, for scrapping.
