Struck north breakwall when entering Buffalo, NY, harbor, on October 7, 1906, with cargo of lumber, opening seams. Vessel sank and broke up two days later in gale. Reportedly was maneuvering to avoid collision with outbound propeller UGANDA when accident occurred. No lives lost. |
