Rebuilds Readmeasured Chicago, IL, April 27, 1865; 245.94 gross - 233.64 net; 124.58 x 28.16 x 11).
History First enrollment issued at Cleveland, OH, May 5, 1857. In October 1857 ran ashore on Middle Island Reef in Lake Superior and freed by SALVOR. May 1858, went ashore off Forty Mile Point, Lake Huron. November 11, 1867, broke in two at Waugoshance Point, Lake Michigan. April 1869, in collision in Chicago. November 6, 1869, went ashore at Rondeau, Ontario. May 25, 1883, in collision with MONHANSETT & METACOMET at Door, Wisconsion, rescued by tug LEVIATHAN and repaired in Milwaukee.
Disposition Vessel went ashore three miles south of Mission Point on November 27, 1886, and became a total loss. (See Chicago Inter Ocean, 11-27-1886).
