History In collision with steamer EDWARD Y. TOWNSEND on Whitefish Bay, Lake Superior, April 26, 1909.Stranded on Lucille Island, Lake Superior, bound for Fort William, Ont., August 5, 1928; suffered $6,000 damage.
In collision with steamer GEORGE G. CRAWFORD twenty-six miles northwest of Lorain, OH, Lake Erie, on November 13, 1952; suffered extensive bow damage above the waterline. Repairs made during winter lay-up at Cleveland, OH.
Disposition Passed down, Port Colborne, August 4, 1969, in tow of German tugs FAIRPLAY X and FAIRPLAY XI, for Quebec. Arrived at Santander, Spain, September 27, 1969, in tow of Polish tug JANTAR, in tandem with steamer HARRY CROFT, for scrapping.
