As NEW QUEDOC: Sank at winter moorings at Midland, Ontario, December 17, 1961; caused by automatic sea valves being left open. Loss set at c.$100,000 worth of storage grain.As QUEDOC: Hit a dock at Saskatchewan Pool No. 6 in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on July 18, 1977. Sustained ten-inch crack near port bow. No injuries. Accident apparently occurred when the boat was caught by strong winds and was unable to reverse in time to avoid hitting the dock.
Ran aground in Lake St. Francis, St. Lawrence River, on April 10, 1978. Freed next day with tug assistance, sustaining no apparent damage.
Collided with the Greek GEORGE L. on Lac. St. Louis on October 11, 1980, sustaining damage to her starboard bow, accommodations, and wheelhouse. |
