Rebuilds Lengthened in 1906 (454 x 44.42 x 22.42; 4077 gross - 3530 net). Reconstructed as auto carrier, 1926 (3943 gross - 2821 net). Reconstructed as bulk carrier by American Ship Building Co., Buffalo, 1943 (4005 gross - 2883 net). Reconverted to auto carrier, 1948 (3972 gross - 2850 net). Rig changed to barge, 1956, for use as grain storage hulk at Buffalo, NY. Tonnage change, 1960 (4123 gross - 4068 net).
History Ran aground in fog, August 19, 1899, on Knife Island, Lake Superior, $20,000 loss.In collision with tug DAUNTLESS and oil barge MORANIA 130 in Buffalo harbor, NY, October 30, 1951. Fire killed two on propeller and 8 on tug/barge.
Disposition Towed down, Port Colborne, November 16, 1962, for scrapping by Marine Salvage, Ltd., at Rameys Bend in Welland Canal.
