| Rebuilds | Rebuilt at Conneaut, OH, in winter, 1918-1919 (315.75 x 42.25 x 24.16; 2394 gross - 1465 net). Received straight sides and flattened deck. Converted to crane vessel, with two whirlies on deck, in 1927. |
| History | As HENRY CORT: In collision with steamer MIDVALE while breaking ice off Colchester Reef, Lake Erie, on December 17, 1917. Sank in thirty feet of water 4 1/2 miles from Colchester Reef. Crew walked to MIDVALE across the ice. Located on April 24, 1918, four miles from earlier sunk position, with seven feet of water over her. Raised on September 22, 1918, on fourth attempt, and towed to Bar Point, then to Toledo Ship Building Co. for major repairs. Then arrived at Conneaut, OH, on October 17, 1918, for more rebuilding by Pittsburgh Steamship Co. Stranded on Colchester Reef, Lake Erie in 1927; abandoned to underwriters, and sold. Holed by ice in Detroit River, while tied to Nicholson Transit Co. dock at Ecorse, MI, in 1933, and settled. |
| Disposition | Stranded on north pier of Muskegon (MI) breakwall in storm on November 30, 1934. Broke in half in December, and declared a constructive total loss. Scrapped in 1935. |
