Rebuilds Converted to sand dredge, 1954 (769 gross - 382 registered). Repowered 1972.
History Triple expansion engine, removed in 1972 repowering, placed in Upper Canada Marine Museum in Toronto, 1977.As NIAGARA: Suffered explosion in engineroom, March 1, 1965, at Whitby, Ontario; killed 2 and injured 1.
Disposition Towed to Port Maitland, Ont., in 1997 for scrapping, but a dive group got her. They towed her in the fall of 1998 to Tobermory. On May 15, 1999, she was sunk as a dive site in Fathom Five Park. Registry closed on 4/06/2000, noted as sunk.
