History Undocumented, 1948-1952.Acquired by U.S. Navy on March 2, 1942, and commissioned on August 6, 1942. Arrived at New York, Third Naval District, September 12, 1942. Reassigned to Norfolk, VA, Fifth Naval District, November 21, 1942, and placed on escort duty along East Coast. Decommissioned at Philadelphia Navy Yard, August 25, 1944, and overhauled. Assigned to Underwater Sound Laboratory, New London, CT, and placed in service, September 2, 1944. Arrived at Brooklyn Navy Yard, May 10, 1946, and placed out of service, May 23, 1946. Turned over to U.S. Maritime Commission on June 10, 1948, for disposal.
Disposition Dropped from documentation in 1956 as dismantled.
