History First enrollment issued at Buffalo, NY, June 10, 1881. Final U.S. enrollment surrendered at Ogdensburg, NY, March 17, 1914, and endorsed \"burned.\"
As RUSSELL SAGE: Caught fire at dock, Oswego, NY, on November 2, 1912, and burned to waterline. Burned hulk remained at Oswego until 1917, when sold Canadian for rebuilding as barge.
Disposition Foundered off South Bay Point, Ontario, Lake Ontario, along with barge CONDOR, with cargo of coal, May 14, 1921; no lives lost.
